Guess the Song
SongPop 2 was the sequel to the global hit, SongPop and instantly surpassed its predecessor, becoming the biggest music trivia game in the world. With over 200,000 songs, 3,400 playlists and featuring artists from around the world, SongPop 2 is an extremely addictive, fun mobile trivia game to play against people from all over.
As a visual designer on SongPop 2, I helped design and prepare the game for launch, worked on new game features, designed for UI needs across multiple devices and added to the growing list of character illustrations.
The Apple Watch companion app consisted of taking a robust UI visual system and condensing it down to only the essential information.
SongPop 2 had an extensive series of character illustrations that were used to represent different music genres as well as famous artists who had a featured playlist in the game. In addition to traditional UI and UX systems, I worked on a lot of these character needs and below is a sample of genre and artist characters I made for the game.
